The fullness of our faith finds expression in a profound way at the funeral of a loved one. At this most sensitive of times you will need to know that you have the support of the parish family.
In planning a funeral it is usually best to ask your Funeral Director to make initial arrangements on your behalf by contacting the Parish Office. Once dates and times have been agreed, Fr. Harry will arrange to meet with you and your family to explain the different parts of the service and the ways in which your family and friends may wish to participate.
The church service may or may not include the celebration of Mass and Fr. Harry will normally accompany you to the cemetery or crematorium for the short service of committal.
All our loved ones who have died are remembered at Masses throughout the year and especially at a Memorial Mass during November for all those who have died over the previous twelve months.
