The Sacrament of Reconciliation (Confession) is available on Friday evenings between 6.00 pm and 6.45 pm or by appointment through the Parish Office. The pandemic has made it necessary to close the confessional and hold confessions in the Don Bosco Centre.
Whole Parish celebrations also take place in Advent and Lent where usually a number of priests are available to minister.
As Christians we will always need to walk the path of conversion. Called to holiness of life through baptism, we find that we constantly need to seek the forgiveness of Our Lord and each other. God’s mercy and forgiveness is manifest in the welcome we receive to the Sacrament, the encouragement and challenge of the Gospel and in the words of absolution.
Through the gift of the Sacrament of Reconciliation, through admitting our sin and desiring to grow in love of the Lord, we are able to experience the mercy of Almighty God and to receive the help that we need to let go of the sins of the past and make a fresh start, a new beginning.
