This is the light of Christ - thanks be to God!
The amazing Resurrection of Our Lord Jesus Christ is celebrated. The Easter fire is kindled and the Paschal Candle illuminates God's rescue plan through the scriptures. We renounce evil, renew our baptismal promises and, through the outpouring of the Holy Spirit, encounter the risen Jesus in the Eucharist.
