There are two main aspects to this Ministry. The first is dispensing Holy Communion in church during Mass and the second is taking Holy Communion to the sick, either at home, in hospital or a care home. The pandemic has brought a stop to both of these for some time now and it's not clear when either of them can start again. However, it is my hope that things will improve soon, and I think the best way to prepare for this is to pray. I would like to hold a Day of Recollection for Eucharistic Ministers on Saturday 25th September starting at 10 am and finishing at 2 pm with a break in the middle for tea and coffee. It will be a chance to pray together and to explore the Ministry of the Eucharistic in our parish.
